David Idagu Goldfinger is an award-winning strategic communications and public affairs leader with over 15 years of experience advising governments, corporations and development institutions across Africa. As Founder of Vantage by Disrupt, he has built the capability that Africa’s most consequential institutions turn to when they need to be heard at the global level — in the rooms where DFIs allocate capital, climate funds make investment decisions and institutional partnerships are formed.
Through Vantage, David serves as strategic communications adviser to the Office of Climate Change and Circular Economy, Lagos State Government. His work delivered Lagos State’s admission to the Under2 Coalition at LCAW 2026, a year-round partnership with Climate Action spanning LCAW, New York Climate Week and COP31, and international recognition as Africa’s leading subnational climate institution.

As former Commercial Director at Climate Action, Richard worked alongside the heads of state, finance ministers, global CEOs, DFI directors and climate fund managers who convene at the Innovation Zone at COP and the Climate Innovation Forum at London Climate Action Week. CEO, Carbonivity · Climate Finance Consultant to the Lagos State Government
Dr. Debola Odunsi (Dr. ESG) leads the technical dimension of the Vantage offer as CEO of Carbonivity and Climate Finance Consultant to the Lagos State Government — ensuring that what Vantage positions for clients is not just credible in narrative, but investment-ready in substance.
His work addresses one of Africa’s most consequential climate challenges: the gap between climate ambition and bankable projects, and between available capital and measurable impact. Through Carbonivity, Dr. Odunsi develops the frameworks, digital infrastructure and financial architecture that allow African governments, institutions and businesses to move from stated climate priorities to credible, measurable investment opportunities — the kind that DFIs, climate funds and institutional investors can evaluate, underwrite and deploy against.
For the Lagos State Government, Dr. Odunsi has played a central role in advancing the State-Determined Contributions (SDCs) Framework — supporting the development of climate investment pipelines and the data infrastructure required to connect projects with domestic and international capital. His expertise spans digital Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems, carbon markets, ESG frameworks and climate finance management.
